# \[Hiring Decision\] Reject Candidate (Not Hired)

### **When rejecting a candidate during the selection process**

If you need to reject a candidate before they reach the **Final Phase**, go to the **Applications** tab of the Job, select the candidate, and click the **Reject** button in the top-right corner of the candidate details screen.

### **When rejecting a candidate in the Final Phase (Not Hired)**

1. In the **Applications** tab of the Job, select the candidate, then go to **Stages** → **Final Phase** → **Hiring Decision**, and click **Reject Candidate**.

2. When the **Reject Candidate** screen appears, you can register the reason for rejection. For **Decision Category**, you can choose from:

- **– (Blank)**
- **Rejected by Company**
- **Rejected by Candidate**

If you select **Rejected by Company** or **Candidate**, you can then specify the detailed reason.

- #### **When the company decides to reject the candidate**

💡 You can also review the content of the **Email Notification** to be sent to the candidate.

Check that the recipient (**To**), subject line, and other details are correct.

- If everything is correct, click **Send** or **+Schedule Send**.
- If you want to complete the rejection process without sending an email, click **Confirm Without Email**.

If multiple email addresses are registered in the candidate’s profile, click the **To** field to select the desired email address.
