[Hiring Decision] Reject Candidate (Not Hired)

When rejecting a candidate during the selection process

If you need to reject a candidate before they reach the Final Phase, go to the Applications tab of the Job, select the candidate, and click the Reject button in the top-right corner of the candidate details screen.

When rejecting a candidate in the Final Phase (Not Hired)

  1. In the Applications tab of the Job, select the candidate, then go to StagesFinal PhaseHiring Decision, and click Reject Candidate.

  2. When the Reject Candidate screen appears, you can register the reason for rejection. For Decision Category, you can choose from:

  • – (Blank)
  • Rejected by Company
  • Rejected by Candidate

If you select Rejected by Company or Candidate, you can then specify the detailed reason.

  • When the company decides to reject the candidate

💡 You can also review the content of the Email Notification to be sent to the candidate.

Check that the recipient (To), subject line, and other details are correct.

  • If everything is correct, click Send or +Schedule Send.
  • If you want to complete the rejection process without sending an email, click Confirm Without Email.

If multiple email addresses are registered in the candidate’s profile, click the To field to select the desired email address.

You can also use an email template for the message you send.
